A shop with a real catalog. The theme and the modules had drifted after several partial updates. Category pages and filters no longer matched attributes and stock. The fixes so far had all been in the theme.
What was wrong
- Filters came back empty, or with combinations that should not be on sale.
- Category templates expected fields the import no longer filled.
- Nobody had looked past the template, so the next import undid the patch.
What was done
- Traced the screen through the module and into attribute and stock data.
- Corrected the template and the filter queries in stages, not in one silent dump.
- Aligned the import rules so those fields stayed filled.
What works now
- Categories can be browsed. Filters follow the attributes that exist.
- The next import has a written mapping.
- It is clear what belongs to the theme, the module, and the feed.
What this case is not
- No client name, and no sales figures. It is a composite.
- Not a new theme, and not a new checkout.
- The service behind it: PrestaShop.
